Sweden with a population of only a fraction of that of the UK might just be able to get away with using a bigger portion of so called renewable energy , this typifies the usual EUSSR nonsense that one size fits all .

  2. Ex-expat Colin says:

So I don’t need to visit Sweden to know whether they are nuts or not. Scandinavia – full of the green for a long time…so no surprise from this dope!

Denmark was enough for me. Some were ok…just!

  3. Brin Jenkins says:

My mind boggles at the Swedes response. http://www.gridwatch.templar.co.uk/ is real time data in an understandable format presented by an engineer. I like the Swedes as a race, but his head is in the sand would be a polite understatement.

Can Roger send him the link perhaps to help him understand how its balancing load and supply both here, and in France?

  4. Jane Davies says:

Well said Roger……I could see your antenna shoot up when he said those two words….wind power!
