No worry… John M (Spain) and little old me are working on it:
Skewer comes to mind!
Sewer is more appropriate.
If Tony Blair’s intervention can’t swing it for Brexit once and for all, I cannot imagine what can!
Talk about the kiss of death…
Absolutely, two kisses….. Branson and Blair! How dare these ego inflated arrogant old men even think they can overturn a vote of 17 million people….their heads would have ended up on pikes outside the Tower of London not so long ago, come to think of it………
Bring back the old traditions!
I digress…..good speech Roger I can see why the unelected are not happy about ADDE.
What started out as a reasonable idea, changed course in the space of 40 years, that is quite unreasonable and very alien to the British and others. Without Cameron being silly in the matter of domestic political challenge, we would never have had the chance of a referendum on E.U. membership, and the result showed just how out of touch all political parties were with the will of the people. Now, and I hope for the future, politics in GB/UK is changing from left or right, to a rather more adult view. A wake-up call has been received by today’s MPs, and the more intelligent of them realise that very many voters understand that as well. All Establishment members have been nearly brought down to earth. They know that and are kicking against it, as has been shown by Hammond’s Autumn Statement. – If you major in pessimism, you could also have made such a statement as he did. Then there are the rest of the political establishment, that backed the referendum, but don’t like the result. – Once upon a time I had respect for the Lib/Dems, but now they kick against Democracy. The old Liberal Party would not have done that. My Tory MP., Michael Ellis, who wished to remain in the E.U. has told me that he will, if it comes to a Commons vote, back the signing of Article 50, since that is the will of the people, and there are many others who will do the same. As for the passage through the Lords, I can only hope that they realise their House of Lords future is in the melting pot. Take care my Lord !
Mike you say “if it comes to a Commons vote, back the signing of Article 50, since that is the will of the people, and there are many others who will do the same”.
I’m sure many others will, they have an eye on keeping their jobs, so a win, win situation all round!
Yes, but let’s have an openly published list of all MPs together with the way every one of them voted.
Thanks, Roger, for showing the plot of surface temperatures on a water-covered planet that is exactly one astronomical unit from a pulsar.
Let us be grateful this holiday season for mankind’s innate ability to distinguish reality, as revealed by precise measurements and observations from political pronouncements of “97% consensus science”

That is exactly how the sloping baseline Weizsacker assumed for nuclear binding energy calculations (across the top of Figure 1) was recognized as an illogical basis for concluding
_ a.) Nobel Laurates Einstein and Aston did not understand nuclear energy.
_ b.) Tritium has greater nuclear binding energy than its decay product, helium-3
_ c.) C-14 has greater nuclear binding energy than its decay product, nitrogen-14, etc., etc.
_ d.) The interaction between neutrons is attractive, rather than repulsive.
_ e.) Stars convert hydrogen => heavier elements => neutron stars => black holes, rather than cores of galaxies and stars convert compacted neutrons to interstellar hydrogen.
2. Peter Toth recognized the regular 160 minute solar pulse as evidence Sun’s core is a pulsar, as shown in Figure 2.
Oliver, I would like to say I agree, but what the f…… are you talking about ? God Bless you anyway. Jane, yes its win, win, but at least my local man has twigged that we employ him and he does what he is told.- I wish that was universal. Catweazle and Jane. – Yes, understood, but Blair and Branson are just two individuals, and have just two votes, – Democracy is a wonderful thing, and we have to hold it close. David and Colin, what is past is past. – The excrement that we passed some years ago has now been dealt with, and cannot reappear !
He’s talking about having a “relatively cheaper” source of energy which is always reliable. He is saying we dont need unreliable expensively subsidised wind farms nor Chinese made unreliable solar panels.
